Privacy Policy
3D Printing Empire Idle Tycoon · by Piped Creations · Effective 2026-09-04
3D Printing Empire Idle Tycoon ("the game") is developed by Piped Creations ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game handles, on the web version at 3dprintingempire.com and in the Android app. Playing the game is also subject to our Terms of Service.
Your save data, and signing in
You can play the whole game without an account. If you never sign in, your save data (game progress and settings) is stored only on your device, in browser local storage on the web or in app storage on Android, and it is never sent to us.
You can choose to sign in with Google so that one save follows you between the web version and the Android app, and survives a lost or reset device. If you sign in:
- What identifies you. Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication, a Google service. We receive an account identifier for you and the email address of the Google account you pick. We never see your Google password.
- What we store. Your save file is sent to our server at games.pipedcreations.com and stored there against that account identifier. The save is game state: your progress, your settings, what you own in the game, and the names you have given things in it.
- What is not in it. Your save does not contain your real name, your address, or your payment details. We never receive card or payment information at all. Purchases are handled by Google Play, and we are told only that a purchase succeeded.
We do not sell personal information.
Usage analytics and session recording
To find out where the game confuses people, we use PostHog, an analytics service. It records how the game is used, which includes:
- Session recordings: a replay of your screen while you play: what you tap, what you scroll, and the game view itself. This is a reconstruction of the page, not a video of your device, and it is limited to the game.
- Usage events: pages viewed, buttons and controls used, and general device information such as browser, screen size, and approximate location from your IP address.
This is not tied to your name or your email address. PostHog processes it for us as a data processor; see the PostHog Privacy Policy. You can turn it off at any time in the game: tap the ⚙️ gear, open "Usage data" and untick "Share anonymous usage data". Turning it off stops all recording and events immediately and is remembered on that device.
Email you give us
There are two places you can hand over an email address, and both are optional. Nothing in the game asks you to sign up or log in.
- The launch list. If you enter your address on the website to be told when the game reaches the app stores, we email you a confirmation link and store the address with Brevo, who send the mail for us as a data processor. The address only joins the list once you click that link. We use it for that announcement and nothing else. No newsletter, no sharing, no selling. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete the address at any time.
- Feedback. The in-game feedback form (⚙️ → "Tell me what you think") has an optional email field, used only to reply to you. Leave it blank and the note is anonymous. The message is delivered through PostHog alongside the usage data described above, so it arrives attached to that session.
Advertising on the web version
The game is free and supported by ads, including optional rewarded videos you choose to watch. On the web, ads are served by Google AdSense / H5 Games Ads. To serve, cap, and measure those ads, Google may collect and use your IP address, device and browser information, and cookies or similar storage set in your browser. Depending on your consent and location, this may include personalized advertising. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Advertising and purchases in the Android app
The Android app includes the following services, which may collect data as described in their own policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising): may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general device information to serve and measure ads. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from AdMob apps.
- Google Play Billing / RevenueCat (in-app purchases): process purchase transactions and receipts so purchases can be restored on reinstall. Payment details are handled by Google Play; we never see your payment information. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
The web version does not currently sell anything.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep your save file and settings on your own device. It is not a tracking cookie. If you sign in, a copy of your save is also sent to our server as described above. Separately, Google's ad code may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser for the advertising purposes described above; those are Google's, and you can clear or block them in your browser settings (blocking them may stop rewarded ads from loading, but the game will still play).
Your choices about ads
- Android: reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.
- Web: manage personalized advertising at Google My Ad Center, or clear and block cookies in your browser.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: where required, a consent prompt provided by Google appears before personalized ads are served, and you can change your choice there at any time.
United States state privacy rights
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some ad activity described above may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Residents of those states are shown a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on the site, which records your opt-out with our ad partner; you can also use the ad controls in the section above. Residents of states with such laws may additionally contact us to exercise their access, deletion, and opt-out rights, though note that we hold no personal data about you ourselves.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the game is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will act on it.
Data retention and deletion
If you never signed in, your save lives only on your device and deleting it is entirely in your hands: uninstall the app, or clear the site's data in your browser. There is nothing on our side to delete.
If you did sign in, we hold your save on our server for as long as the account exists, so that it is there when you come back. To have it deleted, email support@pipedcreations.com from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will remove your stored save and the account identifier it is filed under. Deleting your cloud save does not remove the copy on your own device, which stays in your hands as above.
Analytics and session recordings held by PostHog, and data held by the advertising services above, are retained under their own policies. To have recordings associated with your device deleted, contact us and we will action it with PostHog.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
